But the RGB cable for the Wii you should Do not reach for Nintendo cable but better to a cable from a third party such as BigBen.
Why? - For the following reasons:
I see now the time Nintendo with the BigBen cable:
1] It is totally overpriced with 30 Euro for what is offered. The cable of BigBen offers much more and costs only 13Euro !!! So just half.
2] A major shortcoming of the Nintendo cable is that the Scart connection not all pins are present. Nintendo has simply omitted to make any open pins for more profit and has thereby not kept in mind that the cable so that no longer fits securely into the scart sockets of many television and can thus lead to disconnections. (Personally I find this reason every now and then the sound of!). In BigBen ALL pins are present and in addition to the Scart connection around a smooth plastic bearing surface, so that the cable holds bombproof.
3] fault safety: The BigBen cable has a ferrite core to prevent interference from the outside. The Nintendo cable waived this simple and inexpensive measure to deliver a perfect picture free from interference. And just in RGB would be beneficial because this type of transmission as CVBS (composite signal) or YPbPr (Component signal) is immune to interference.
4] Connection of Stereo: The BigBen cable to be able to connect through this stereo system and thus not having to rely on the TV speakers as a bonus provides additional ports for audio (and video). A nice bonus and handy if the Wii to be connected in between times to a projector.
Therefore I see no reason the Nintendo cable more than to give one star. For half the money you get a much better cable of BigBen and for the remaining 15 euros you can go good food.
