Had been looking for quiet fans, since I have upgraded my PC for video editing and were the internal fan of the server chassis and 3-AC drive backplane partially louder than the movie soundtrack. This was not acceptable.
So little researched and the Arctic fan with good reviews found. Was skeptical when ordering what the noise was concerned.
I was surprised and amazed that the rotor shape and good storage account for so much. The F8-TC with Termosensor runs absolutely silent when normal temperatures prevail inside the PC. But even at higher speeds can be heard very little. Fan installation went very smoothly, because the fans are well made. For backplanes, one should note the fan depth. The slightly higher fan price is worth the money and thus recommended.
