The stories of "magic masters and witches" and are all based on legends from different regions of Germany. There are among others a Faust legend and a Krabat saga (which can be seen almost as a small continuation of the novel). The eight-Preußler legends are told great and deliver Thoughtful, funny and Superb. Preußler linguistic presentation is excellent, because it is quite challenging for children, which I think is good, however, because without request there can be no promotion. I would recommend the stories from the second (and quite up to the sixth) school year. A deduction of points gets the audiobook because of poor sound quality. It rushes noticeably.
Who this book (or audiobook) interested, and who maybe looking for something similar, I would recommend four things:
1. The fist version of Paul Maar: FAUST (play for children, 5th / 6th Class.), With which one can build on the beautiful Preußlerschen version.
2. The fist version of the Augsburg Puppet Theatre in the DVD collection The little treasure chest
3. The book of legends Most European legends. New counts known legends for children from six years.
