Failing memory of a soldier

Since it is not specified in the announcement of this book, the memoirs of soldier Delattre are those of a soldier of the 72nd Ri Amiens. These war stories covering 4 years in August 1914 to November 1918. The manuscript found by chance was written 16 years after November 11, 1918, compared this account with the military archives of the regiment we realize that it includes certain errors of date and many typos on behalf of cities comrades. Nevertheless for those who is interested in the "daily life of a stretcher-bearer" Delattre André gives us a pretty raw view of this war not sparing in passing errors of some officers of his regiment.
