We are a family with 4 children. So a total of 6 people. Already several electronic scales (with all sorts of unnecessary frills) have unfortunately far too quickly passed away with us and it constantly had to be replaced, which still quite often causes subsequent costs at no small cost value the battery. Since quite some time, we now have this mechanical scale. And I'm thrilled. That's not kaputtzukriegen. You have to change batteries. And I can assure you my boys have tried their best to test it. We had the scale single day yet, because one of the guys jumped full tilt on the scales. Prompt snagged the pointer and I thought ... oh bravo. My husband (ok, he is technically very gifted) but they repaired and now it works as before. The guys have capitulated and the balance works. It is awesome. Of course you need to know that they are not on decimal place precisely indicates and that you have to adjust the pointer to 0 every now and then (which, however, done nothing with a setting wheel in no time). This happens sometimes with us, when it is on a different course. Those who do not want to know a hundredth gram exactly know and also can do without the other bells and whistles, which I can only recommend this scale.
