Property me yesterday the Thunderbolt Display bought and am really excited. I use a MB Pro (late 2011) and had previously some concerns with regard to the performance. Had read in some recessions that due to the high resolution, the MB to its knees. But I can not confirm. The resolution really comes close to a Retina display, although I've only built an Intel 3000. Programs like iPhoto can be loose in full screen mode to operate with no loss of speed to have to accept. Although the appearance is due in the summer after an update of the display, I decided consciously for the current display. Really a lot more than an upgrade to USB 3.0 will not be expected, to which I can do without personally.
