After the (PC) disappointments of recent years when it comes to NHLX, FIFAY and PESZ I've spontaneously bought NBA 2K9 and am very confident.
As NBA Rookie of course I can not say anything enlightening in terms of KI, realism, tactics, squad-timeliness etc., but the gameplay is really for me its finest.
Nice graphics and animation, good sound and a fantastic television and even presentation (for beginners) is a very challenging and exciting gameplay make with me for casual sank 5 Stars.
The only negative points are the very complex (for beginners) control and not very comfortable, ported from the console user interface. But that's getting used to things.
I had long, since October, 2003 (NHL 2004), no longer a "Huii" feeling in sports games for the PC. NBA 2K9 has returned me disabused and a piece of hope that the PC as a gaming platform sport still has a good future. EA Konami and in part can sometimes learn a lot for their puck and ball sports games.
