For small bags, he is not therefore necessarily appropriate. The device has two outputs iSmart, USB 5 V, with a 2.1 A and a charge of 2.4 A. This can be so smartphone or tablet via USB. Furthermore, the device has an input (DC 5 V, 1.5 A), where it can be charged even via Micro USB. It is a flashlight attached, a charge status indicator and a power button.
The operating temperature is 0-45 degrees centigrade and the storage temperature -10-45 degrees Celsius.
Delivery
The unit is supplied in a cardboard box, see photo. The package includes the unit itself, a manual in German, English, French and other languages, a warranty card, a storage bag and 2 (!) USB to micro-USB charging cable (20 and 60 cm length). The bag is extra thick padded so that the battery can be kept well protected! She is black and gray and has a drawstring for closing. The accessories I really like, because it is useful. One can for example have a charging cable in your car and take a home or away. Due to the different length one is flexible, otherwise the cable are identical. Something bad is that no standard USB cable or an Apple cable is supplied.
Design
It is a solid device. It is quadrangular and relatively robust when you take it in hand. The surface is scratch resistant. There are black plastic and silver-colored metal parts available. Apparently, there is the device according to packaging also in white, I have here but the black version. The lettering "RAVPower" adorns the unit in gray. The iSmart character is on it in gray. The blue LEDs display the charging Stan look good. The built-in flashlight is handy if you take somewhere stands there in the dark. The color and shape goes well with other telecommunications equipment, and it also looks not bad. I personally like the design of the device very well.
Functionality - Charging the extra battery
Charging the extra battery is very simple. It combines one of the charging cable to the micro USB port on the device and a USB port. The latter can be a laptop, a USB adapter for the power outlet or a car charger with USB port. If everything is connected, the battery level indicator will blink blue on spare battery. Depending on how much is charged, illuminate either one, two, three or four LEDs. When fully charged, so four LEDs would turn blue. The charging time is approximately 10 hours. With me that charging the Smartphone within the test went very quickly as already 2 LED were charged. I tried it with empty battery pack, the result was satisfactory. At the moment I can not assess long-term test, but so far everything is working fine.
Functionality - charging of smartphones and tablet with the spare battery
The unit is switched on by pressing the power button. Now, if you connect a standard USB cable and the spare battery connects to the mobile device to be charged, the mobile device is automatically loaded. You can use all conventional smartphones and tablets, but then possibly different charging times. For Apple devices using the original Apple charging cable of their devices, because such a cable here is not with the delivery here! Now the battery thus invites to the device until it is full, it turns off automatically to prevent overcharging. The Power Bank turns to separation from the mobile device after about 30 seconds off automatically to save power. The device can charge two mobile devices simultaneously. In my opinion, which is very convenient, recordable as smartphone and tablet. The outputs are compatible designed, thanks to the iSmart technology. I easily can load on my test iPhone and iPad. Thanks to the high capacity I could charge the smartphone several times with a full load of extra batteries. But this is different depending on the mobile device. Unfortunately I could not try it with other smartphones, such as Samsung, HTC etc. My experiences relate at the moment only on Apple devices.
