After a call at ergo I received to an email with the required data. After I had completed and returned this I received a UPS ticket, with which I could apply for a pickup. Here a delay came thereby into play that the MacBook had to be first returned from Amazon and I was not at home during the week, but this one can not blame ergo course.
After picking up my MacBook (which is made by UPS quite comfortable, you can choose the day and morning or afternoon) it took more than a week until my MacBook with exchanged hard drive was back.
All in all, a very fast and comfortable handling.
Some complain about in their recessions to comparable assurances that the fine print ergo much leeway in handling grants, as regards refunds, but I can only say that ergo very well "looked after" me by my loss event has and especially the settlement really fast from Equip went.
As a single negative or rather neutral point I can argue that another hard drive is installed. This struck me as the old hard drive had a safety mechanism that ensured that the read head with a soft click jumped into the rest position upon movement of MacBooks. (At least, the statements which I found on the internet for it.) However, the new hard drive is in a test been on tomshardware well tested, so that this point can not really be counted negatively.
Overall, I am therefore very pleased to have completed this insurance to be even if the previous loss event certainly does not make the insurance premium compensated, but just because I have my MacBook everywhere, it is reassuring insured against damages of any kind and you are clearly relaxed.
