As expected, my system will boot much faster now. The working speed in my Dell Studio 1747 (Core i7 Q720, 8GB RAM, Win7 Pro 64 bit) has also increased noticeably.
I am particularly pleased that the fan noise has been greatly reduced. The fans go now only rel. rarely (under heavy load) and also not so long audible.
I do not regret the purchase and therefore the product would highly recommend.
(Now I can not say if I would not have achieved these results with a more affordable SSD, but the cheaper SSDs were the time of purchase April 2014 not so much cheaper and consumed partially more power, though what indeed turn to more heat, so could potentially lead to more fan noise.)
