Although sometimes interspersed with shots a tad annoying, this tale, dare I say this parable holds the attention and interest of the reader without any shortness of breath. The lines are from time to time a little forced, caricature is never far away, but the characters are very well drawn by the author. The latter, without pontificating, challenges us in an unorthodox manner, on the excesses of the human race, excesses that lead us to a great train announced at the end, unless we dramatically change our ways of living, thinking all in a profound respect for the planet that hosts us. Some would be able to find fault with the manner or excesses Planking used to lead us in this important reflection. Personally I think he is doing pretty well, mixing fiction, suspense and a sense of humor, all complemented by a write great fluidity.
