Final self-sacrifice

What were the times when I've sat feverishly on a Madonna album. Long ago! MDNA will be probably the first album, which is missing in my otherwise complete Madonna discography. The last two longplayer CONFESSION ON A DANCE FLOOR and Hard Candy have already hinted that Madonna can not be bothered more on experimentation and innovation. Instead, they now swims like any other in shallow mainstream climes and copy what has been established and successful, even himself. MDNA is the ultimate self-sacrifice and may be just as well an album by David Guetta or Lady Gaga. Madonna wants to sell and not be seen by the music feature. You hear only the lyrics that could hinklatschen every teen brat so ("Uh la la You're my Super Superstar"!). But first things first ...

(Madonna spelled her album and spread boredom)

(And we are in the style of CONFESSION ON A DANCE FLOOR)

("Every record sounds the same, you got to step into my world" - Andersrum is a shoe out of it!)

(Orbit makes to David Guetta and produced a total failure)

7. SUPERSTAR **
(Musical and lyrical triviality)

(Madonna tried again to rap; "I'm moving fast, can you follow my track?" - With the Skip button I am faster!)

9. I'M A SINNER ****
(Orbit at his best - unfortunately a copy of the Song About Beautiful Stranger)

10. LOVE SPENT ****
(0815-electro, but one of the better songs here)

11. MASTERPIECE *****
(Madonna at its best - Is not she a Masterpiece Finally back as I love them!?. Clear, minimal, without annoying Timblabla dance Gedönst The pre-extraction MASTERPIECE led us to believe MDNA after HARD CANDY and CONFESSION ON A DANCE FLOOR so interchangeable and unassuming as any Whitneybritneylirumlarum disc came along. Maybe I Madame Louise Botox Veronica Ciccone off too early. The song falls but completely out of the concept and is the only song that Madonna wears unique signature and the Lyrics halfway entitled; MASTERPIECE is unfortunately the exception rather than the rule for MDNA)

(Also FREE FALLING breaks out of the electric monotony and even goes towards avant-garde folklore)

13 BEAUTIFULL KILLER ***
(And back to the trivial pop)

14. I FUCKED UP ****
(Ballads have always been Madonna strength; while at HardCandy the last two electro-pop ballads DEVIL WOULD NOT YOU Recognize and voices produced quite challenging and had really interesting lyrics, I FUCKED UP is only moderately interesting, but still one of the better songs by MDNA)

(Conciliatory statements)

Would that not a Madonna album I'd three stars awarded, but compared to Madonna's musical career highlights MUSIC and especially American Life MDNA is a big disappointment and fits effortlessly into total irrelevance of the two predecessors. Even their music videos has become clear to see that Madonna has no ambitions to do something special. Just now I saw Turn up the radio and am shocked by so much concentrated unimaginative. But it fits excellently into the picture. Pity!
