After I was back then, in 2007, very disappointed with the Microsoft Natural Keyboard, I'm from here so far this absolutely thrilled.
Here is the link to my recession for Natural Keyboard:
Appearance:
Visually, the keyboard is a real eye-catcher on your desk! It looks chic and does not contribute so much to.
Operation:
The keys have a good pressure point, but definitely still could be "streamlined" something.
The palm rest is great and it can be very relaxed typing with the keyboard.
The keypad is a separate "unit", which is a bit strange in the beginning. But as it stands alone, it can be quite good but put on the desk. You get used to it quickly.
The F-keys and the keys for special functions (volume / Play / Mute / ...) share the F-key row.
Between F-keys and FN key can be found on the right upper side switch with a small slide switch.
This works quite well, and after a short that goes very quickly by hand.
The separate number pad has in addition to the "normal NUM keys" still a key for the calculator, a backspace button, and a "Clear" button on the calculator. So it can be used almost as a single calculator.
Software:
The keyboard comes with a CD with software for configuring MS there.
This I have not installed with me, all the functions important to me to work super without extra software.
(It will not all FN assignments without the software -> depending on how it emphasis can then install the software)
Power supply:
Power gets the keyboard from 2 AA batteries that are included with it.
I can make no statement about the life of the batteries after 1 week.
The keyboard and the number pad can not be turned off, so that there is always a connection to the receiver (which can be stored in the keyboard).
The cover for the battery compartment is held magnetically, as the "base" so that the keyboard is superior is held in place by magnets.
All in all I'm happy for about 1 week with the keyboard.
