The Medion Life E66281 sounds good and looks good (also processed) from. The CD player was not decisive for us, but now we like it well, even to times listening to a CD in the kitchen. All other, cheaper devices of "right" cheap brands sound just tinny and awful - and the sound was ultimately the most important selling point for us.
