What a great sound of a clock radio

The operation and the sound of this unit would deserve 6 stars if it were not a single blemish. But I will get to later.
I unpacked the Internet radio, plugged in and run the Setup Wizard, which started automatically.
There first language is set, then picked out the Wi-Fi network and you're connected. Some useful parameters are subsequently queried how the time zone in which one finds oneself, etc., I have specified in Setup that the clock is set automatically. The summer and winter time is switched automatically. During the setup's is also asked about the time zone in which you currently are. If you have completed the setup, it can already begin. For a variety of channels, which are fortunately very clear sortable, you can choose his favorites and save up to 10 channels as favorite. All this is so simple and intuitive that I have not even thrown up to this point have a look in the manual.

The quality of the received music is far better than I had hoped. However, one few settings must be made in advance. Here are the instructions that came not all again, what can be done. That's why a small tip for a greatly improved sound, relative to the base setting.

Press the remote control "EQ".
Then select one of the preset sound patterns. The selection ranges from classical to jazz to pop or rock. After that you can and should still "choose My EQ setting". There, bass and treble can be adjusted manually. But the highlight on this menu is the setting "Volume". Here there is only "on" or "off". The default setting is "off"! If you click here on "A", that is so similar to the earlier loudness. The bass and treble can be extremely enhanced during low volume. So you can really achieve great sound, quite to his taste.

Otherwise it is possible to say that the radio alarm 2 independently adjustable from each alarm times has. You can be woken up by a buzzer or with his favorite stations.
Long-term experience with respect to the accuracy, I have not, but I will report on it here in case of problems.

The only downside to this device is that the volume between 2-stop increments is sometimes really strong raised. A very fine adjustment of the desired volume is therefore not readily possible. Do not bother me particularly, may be disturbing for some users but. But because the device has many advantages, I still give 5 stars with a clear conscience, because that is definitely the best alarm clock I had been!
