Finally, a (long overdue) shift in company policy

Anyway, for a few days the first playable demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace is available and now I have it pulled me.

After the start and the usual "This demo is not the final final" Laber rhubarb, then I was able to select 3 vehicles: the brand new Subaru Impreza WRC, the Mitsubishi Lancer WRC and a beach buggy homegrown inspired by "Mad Max III".

Route choice from falls: Choose the Impreza, you drive in a Super Special Stage (ie in the circle after WRC rules) against the master himself, to choose the Lancer you start on a fantasy Special Stage in the US (although even after WRC rules) and one chooses finally the buggy you start on a dirt track in the US against 10 other lunatics (NPCs).

The damage model is a class of its own and should mean to all other developers of racing games the crown of creation.

Even the verdrecken of Boliden is a feast for the eyes. Fun einzusauen makes the car ... It lacks only the real-up clapping insects on the windscreen and how they are slowly pushed aside. Or one or the other wild rabbits on the bumper ... Ok joking aside, after all, I give myself just bother to write a serious review :) (Haha, Target missed far)

Oh ... very nochwas Great was finally integrated: the button configuration to their own taste. In other words: everyone is allowed to allocate its knöpchen for Use Up / Down switch itself. Very nice touch. Unfortunately, you can not mess around in the great options, so that was so far the only thing I noticed is very pleasant (in the Options section).

Again back to the point graphic. What I still miss the freely adjustable external camera as known eg from TDU, Forza, Forza 2, PGR etc.

Finally, the inevitable conclusion:

Since Part 4 and to the demo I have any Colin McRae parts ignored disappointed. Since today the God I know again just yet even car drives and punishes every now and then angry developers with the lightning. And show you the way to a promising future. Sometimes that's how it is. But that can give me and the developers of CMR DiRT mean only a splendid and long-lasting relationship. Especially when one looks back on the perverse difficulty with English playing time ...
