Rate I will hereafter only the full-fledged songs:
1. Origins
Nice intro, reminiscent of "Helvetios". Does its purpose by set back a beeline to the world of the Helvetii.
2. The Nameless
Groovy song at the beginning. Displays very early on that the musical path of "Helvetios" will continue on this disc. Hard Death Metal riffs topped with Eluveite typical folk melodies.

3. From Darkness
This track comes up with a scary goosebumps moderate chorus! He, too, is held back very quickly and does everything right.

4. Celtos
The first time that the "Origins" the great vocal combination of Chrigel and Anna Murphy comes to wearing. Even the first song of the album, which was not written in English.
Great song could stand for me on "Ven". Here Eluveitie confess definitely to her roots. Fans of "Evocation" should come here for the first time fully again at their expense!

5. Virunus
After "Celtos" was held in rather midtempo, press the Swiss again neatly on the Tube. "Virunus" is again fast, loud, hard. Another typical Eluveitie song, but without that special something.

6. Nothing (Intermezzo)
The first Intermezzo "of the album on which the story of Origins" is further advanced.
7. The Call of the Mountains
This song was one of those who could listen long before ET Album on the Internet. He was admitted at all, common in today's Switzerland languages, making it unique. Here it is included in the English version and likely quite the ghosts. Definitely is "The Call of the Mountains" of poppigste Eluveite song, but he has a beautiful melody that carries the song, and he also will be enriched by the fabulous voice of Anna Murphy. I hear him very much. Something else.

8. Sucellos
"Sucellos" then triggers at once all doubts in the air on that Eluveitie would be softer. In the style of a "Havoc" or "The Siege" a tidy here the ear canal is cleared out. Absolute moshpit-risk arises from the intro followed by double bass thunderstorms. Might make at concerts for a sensation!

9. Inception
No less hard, but a lot darker comes "Inception" therefore. This song is probably the most inaccessible of the album. But unfolds after repeated listening an appealing fascination - even as you heard this band yet very rare.

10. Vianna
And again it is Anna Murphy, which has its next big show. Here again a duet with Chrigel, although it falls a little contrast in a song that probably should take the part of "A Rose for Epona". Nevertheless, very atmospheric and fragile. I like.

11. The Silver Sister
And as to "Origins" is already the case in the previous songs - after a rather slower piece now it pops right back. In "The Silver Sister" brings me Chrigel from a very desperate and lamenting sounding vocals in the verses, while the chorus learns through a soft flute melody a very unusual but at the same time again typical of the band touch.

12. King
And it goes perfectly well. "King" is a stunner. In short. For me, one of the songs About Eluveitie album across. Everything is just right. I can hard to do at certain things, but "King" combines everything you love about Eluveitie (except that this time Anna is very cautious at the end of a few accents contributing as a singer). Reaching as it did a "Inis Mona" Could similar cult status. In my view, the musical highlight of the album, despite the fact that it was the first single.

13. The Day Of Strife
After two such outstanding tracks of course it is hard for the next song, good to get away. "The Day Of Strife" is fast and does the same thing wrong, but is nothing special. Most likely of all songs on the album, a Skip-candidate, other bands would, however, still lick their fingers for as a song.

14. Ogmios (Intermezzo)
One last Intermezzo initiates the final song on the album ...
15. Carry The Torch
Also "Carry The Torch" decides "Origins" is not now with an absolute fireworks, but is a solid Eluveitie song, mainly in the mid-tempo, which similarly to the track in front, against the force, the "King" generated previously, something old looks. With such a long album with again 12 full songs, it is my opinion, but no big deal if one or two of them no huge hits are, but rather only complete the Gesamtkunstwerk.

16. Eternity (Outro)
Where there is an intro, an outro course should also not be missed, in the "Origins" by some final words before gentle, Celtic sounds gradually comes to a beautiful end.
Appreciation (12 songs rated): 105 out of 120 points!
That would, strictly speaking, to star umgemünzt 4.37 result. However, I find "Origins" as a collective work just mercilessly compelling musically varied and at the same time as an ode to their own strengths the band that remains true to the bottom line. That's why I like to give 5 stars for "Origins", although I would probably classify it a very tiny tick behind "Helvetios".
Fans who Eluveitie mainly love for music as it is presented on "Evocation" should listen to the plate before buying in my opinion at least once. Because "Origins" has again become a very tough, brute album, though garnished with good, also quiet nuances, but it is nevertheless as "Helvetios" very close to Death Metal.
Allen, who like, completely suits me the musical development that has made especially since "Helvetios" the band may access without hesitation and look forward to the best folk metal album of the year!
