After a long time Quad Core AMD now was once again an Intel's turn. I quickly became clear due to benchmark and performance testing that are a Sandy Bridge CPU "must" ;-)
I always put in my upgraded systems the greatest value to at least 2.5 years of future security, I consequently over clocke like bit - that's why the K (ie unlocked multiplier) edition for me was compulsory. Let's be honest: Why bother, yet gradually increase tensions during overclocking in this day and age when even a layman can easily lift the Multi loose to 40x WITHOUT having to change anything - EXCEPT the fan. This is again the only disappointing and very illogical to Intel: I give the people a processor to overclock via multi but no decent fan it? Honestly ... :-)
Now back to the CPU: MADNESS performance boost a Scythe Grand Kama Cross fan dazubestellt with me ^^ Hab - whisper, overclocked @ 4,7ghz, yet never above 50 degrees ... really great the potential of the i5-2500K
As an aside: In addition I have a Geforce 560 Ti Gigabyte Z68-UD4 and the Mobo also from Gigabyte and 8 GB G.Skill DDRIII 12800 and this compilation provides everything to Max in every game so far at 1920x1280 (Full-HD is on my TV rüberzuspeilen and loose enough for me ^^)
So who together arises a new system: Absolute recommendation for CPU (with me the I7 would also irritated because of Hyperthreading, but I did not want to overdo it ^^)
PS: Also, kudos to Amazon again - been there ordered Thursday evening by air mail and Sa * daumenhoch *
