- The actual fat / muscle shares I can not verify, but they make perfect sense and are expected frames, so to use for measuring trends in diet or training above all, because reproducible
- The actual weighing function is very accurate and the sensitivity is very high! I place before switching eg a t-shirt + shorts on the scale corresponding to the clothes that I'm wearing in weighing and therefore tariere the scale and get out with clothes and without so exactly the same weight. Outstanding! The feet of the scale have a large bearing surface and weigh on softer substrates (laminated with sound insulation / tiles) bring the same result. Weighing drink, a cup of coffee, again weighing -> exactly 0.1KG More weight will be displayed. Even weighing a 0.5l PET water bottle displays the expected 0.5Kg. Very good balance!
- Value of the unit is absolutely fine, it is certainly not a designer object, but works.
- Setting and operation is very simple. It is very nice that the device has an on / off button on the front, one can tap with your foot. The eternal wait for the device itself starts to make a new measurement is undertaken.
!!!! I can only recommend the device. !!!!
(I've previously a Beurer BF100 and a Tanita ordered and tested 601 and have such a comparison. The other devices have more features and measurements, but the measured values are a joke. Tanita 601 certified my body fat value of a high-performance athlete and a ratio of muscle mass / total weight of 85% and a weight difference left / right arm of 4kg (no, am not Arni and reasonably balanced)! Light body displacements brought differences in weight of up with two scales to 0.4kg. Analysis values fluctuated for each measurement by several percentage points. Beurer balance brought the result, I would be a Asparagus Tarzan with below-average muscle mass ... Hightech scrap with PC connectivity and in the case of Beurer, chic appearance but nothing behind it. The devices also still cost almost twice / three times the Omron scale.)
