In deep mourning (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Who does not remember the girl with long reddish-blond hair and the guitar? At its low, often sad songs? One can now ask, after nearly 30 years. With "On the day when Conny Kramer died" the then 16-year-old overnight became famous. She was often called the Joan of Arc of the German pop scene.
In the spring of 1972 appeared "On the day when Conny Kramer died" as a German version of Joan Baez hit "The Night They Drove Dixie Down". Thus Juliane managed the first place in the German charts, to all 14 weeks long placed in the top ten, even if the content Lyric at the time caused quite a stir. The big hit sold over 1,000,000 times. Even the cover of that first edition of their first LP was rather unconventional. Actually, the album without title was issued, but today it is "deeply saddened". What is likely to be several reasons: On the one hand, by the figure of a death notice on the back, on the other hand through the embassy of their former songs.
If you open the album to read the inscription: "Juliane Werding - a 16 year old girl sings for a better world, for the people ..." The LP sold 100,000 copies.
Now, this LP is first released after 35 years on CD. For a long time some songs no longer commercially available and a fan's heart beat faster when they now appear in CD quality.
