Optionally, the water is either boiled first and is then cooled to the temperature, or it is only heated up to the desired temperature. If the temperature is reached, the cooker will beep and then keeps the temperature by reheating for up to 2 hours constant.
On a digital display the current water temperature is displayed. The plastic part of the digester is also illuminated in color depending on the temperature, so that you can see from afar, how warm the water is just. The desired temperature is reached pretty much. A test with a digital food thermometer in the set 70 ° C on an actual temperature of about 71 ° C.
Of course you can with the device, the water but also just cook. ;-)
I for years drink exclusively tea kettle is exactly what I have been waiting for. In my opinion this is the best of the (few) temperature controlled kettle on the market. Buy recommendation, but also an ideal gift for tea lovers!
Tip: Unlike the traditional kettle this model works electronically and therefore has a standby power consumption of about 2.5 watts. That's not much, but also easily saved by simply kept the device after use in addition to its base or unpluging the plug.
