Blues Pills from the Swedish USA finally offer us today since their full-length debut LP. The band was a big celebration in the last 2 years, which also is probably in large part to the fantastic singer Elin Larsson that could let fall down the jaw with its mix of Adele and Inga Rumpf every listener. The first album is musically seen a stylistic accumulation on the good old rock music, such as blues rock or psychedelic rock of the late 60`ern to mid 70`s. Similar sounding like the Swedish colleagues from Graveyard. With "River" and "Devil Man" are also 2 known titles on the album, which are already of to see the "Devil Man EP", only re-recorded, but with recognition value. "Gypsy" is a cover of Chubby Checker. Who already knows Blues Pills from the EPs before, will find a big surprise in the songwriting here, because the band remains true to its style. Retro Rock to relax, with a beautiful female vocals and groovy beats. Who wants to hear Jefferson Airplane, Frumpy, Blue Cheer and Ten Year After in one, should resort to this record - it's worth it!
