Fine Travel tripod

After long and intensive selection I opted for this tripod Manfrotto. The competitors of Cullmann and Sirui had USPs who offered me no advantage. The advantage of the Manfrotto is the very flexible use of the center column for Macrography. Because of physical limitations I recommend, however, a remote release, so you do not shaky recordings.

The feel of the stand is very. Unusual is the necessary small folding back, so you can open the detent. But this seems to me generally very robust.

Two small points bother me.
- The tripod otherwise robust appearing has to fix the center column a screw with plastic wings. The hook for the attachment of additional weight is also made of plastic. Probably both are sufficiently stable, but it does not match the robust appearance, which I'm used to from Manfrotto.
- The closure of the tripod legs are very clunky, but functional clunky. Who can hires particularly goofy even by pinching the fingers .. My Manfrotto monopod still has the old version of the closures. They are indestructible and easy.
