I bought the Caddy to use a hard disk with several ThinkPads Sere T410 / T410s. I was curious what to expect for the cheap price.
The delivery took a few days. Then the Caddy came well packaged in a small cardboard box with me. Otherwise, found himself in the box even a small bag with two screwdrivers and small plastic parts for assembly.
The installation of a HDD has been no problem. Then I replaced the Caddy against my DVD drive on a ThinkPad. That was the beginning of something hakelig and not so loose as in the Lenvo Mulitbayakku (T410s) or DVD Laufverken (T410). After I had the Caddy reingeschoben and brought out several times, it is now quite well.
The transfer rate of the HDD are just as high as with an internal HDD.
So for the price you can strike.
