This lens has two advantages for me:
First, the size (or smallness): The lens is flat ("pancake") and easily, so that the camera fits into trouser or jacket pocket.
Second, the intensity: I usually aufschraube a polarizing filter for landscapes or even when shooting in cities in order to improve the color quality of photos - especially to a dark blue sky to get - to avoid and reflections in the water or on reflecting Obberflächen, I'm very pleased with the good brightness of the lens. A polarizing filter reduces yes exposure by 1-2 f-stops, what the fast lens in turn compensates somewhat.
Above, I have 3 picture gallery, with the Nikon 1J1, the lens 1Nikkor 10mm f / 1: 40.5mm were taken by B & W 2.8 and the polarizing filter.
NOTE: The shared by AMAZON HIGHLIGHTS may cause irritation.
It says: "Manual Focus", which should not be construed in the sense that the focus is effected by a rotating ring on the lens by hand or the sharpness can also be adjusted manually.
The focus is usually done automatically, ie by pressing the shutter-release button halfway.
An additional switch on the lens for manual focus does not exist, just not a control dial for manual focusing.
However, can be performed via the camera menu, manual focusing, which is a bit complicated.
