There are also by today's standards support many video and audio formats.
BD ISOs play sufficiently reliable and extensive,
Unfortunately, are not supported because of the lack of HDMI 1.3 socket and CPU Power Full-HD 3D files. Although later the following Android Media Player with more raw power and HDMI 1.4 socket allow playback of 3D modes, offering but usually not so stable image as the Netgear.
The general image output is thanks to the SMP8642 chipset also by today's standards very well.
The chip which is placed centrally under the perforated cover, should be cooled quite heat-sensitive or not sufficiently reported, but I have seen no thermal problems.
The remote receiver and the remote diode work reliably, the keys are sufficiently important modeled in the Logitech database.
Thanks to Ethernet, SD card reader, front and back USB 2.0 and eSATA interface, the device provides enough connection options.
What I did not like so much:
The promised connectivity of BD drives was unfortunately never implemented by Netgear.
The firmware has not been maintained for several years, which is why the Youtube plug-in is no longer functional for a long time.
The unit is independent of the firmware quite unstable. It falls to me incorrect boot sequence reproducibly. I can mount my USB drive only after a warm start. Even if you look through large folders to quickly, there is almost certainly crash the player.
Nevertheless, I remain convinced of the device firmly because of the 24p capability.
