The device comes in environmentally-friendly cardboard box. It sports a seal of the ETM test magazine (Precon Medien GmbH) with the quality rating of "Good". Well not quite unintentionally similar to the character of the largest product tester, which I do not want to call into question the achievements of the ETM.

But here at first sight: quite good workmanship, smooth plastic, nothing overly match, the cord is long enough. Only the soft plastic floor seems a little unstable.

A look at the description should bring clarity about the uses. There is to be read, the device is not suitable for hard foods. Elsewhere, however, mentioned that one can thus crush nuts. Later it will be a little more precise: Very hard parts such as coffee beans, nutmeg etc. overwhelm the device. Clear is therefore well aware that it is not suitable as ice crusher. So very clever you will likely not from the cautious choice of words but.

Also calls for the careful description foods before chopping manually into 1-2cm (!) To shred large pieces. The operating time of the device should not exceed 10 seconds, then it needs to cool for 1 minute. Also for soups and drinks it to be suitable, but elsewhere it is said: Do not operate the unit with a liquid-filled container.

Fortunately, these tribulations play in practice a rather subordinate role. The cutting device operates very quickly and thanks to the two knives fairly evenly, so you usually do not need the maximum time. Onions for example must be no more than quartered. The only complaint here: The engine sits in a rather loose, as with all these devices.

After use, the plastic is easy to clean under running water. Fat can be when it comes to the transparent part, leave the dishwasher.

Overall, I have left a positive impression would be even better if I had not read the instructions. At the very least, the device looks more durable than described.
