It is unfortunate that Amazon does not allow us to put half stars because if I liked this suite I did not adored. The author tells the story more or less at the time it was stopped at the end of the first volume: Drew had abandoned Fable leaving a poem whose acrostic form the word "marshmallow", code for that there was a problem. And then nothing ... until they meet by chance two months later. One can then ask whether Fable will really want to get back with Drew because, for once, he continues blunders. A bit too much because I find that Fable is damn nice resume, to listen and to accept it as fast. I can understand that when you love someone any more one is inclined to be lenient but at times the book Drew behaves like a lout and nothing respectful boy the first volume. This is perhaps what made me appreciate this second volume because Drew is not what smooth young man, perfect with a dark secret that tries to hide at all costs. In other words, it appears to me more human. As for Fable, it is always the same, trying to make ends meet and to raise her brother while working hard to live decently.
