Even the Xara Web Designer 10 basically works similarly, although it has a few features less. Nevertheless, it is for those who have no programming experience, not wrong, as you can certainly create an appealing website. It has several templates from which to choose, but can also integrate their own photos and graphics or video. The imagination knows no bounds, because the side facing the WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) works. You can move and shift as you want it will look on the finished side really just the individual elements.
All complicated applications and effects (image change the mouse-over for example) need a little more time, because they once must read the manual to find out how the implementation works. Nevertheless runs quite well, once you understand the principle.
Contrary to some reviews here, bring again the programming skills in HTML, CSS, Java or PHP is not really much when working with Xara Web Designer 10. Who again jumps to the website creation in the source code to make possibly adjustments will namely have no insight. At least I was no longer cope with the generated code. In addition, there are some commands that I usually work, I can not implement in Xara Web Designer 10, even if I am looking in the source code for opportunities.
All in all, the Xara Web Designer 10 is a nice alternative to the usual online modular systems because you have more options and can certainly achieve more individualized results. For web professionals and those who create homepages with other programs, the program is less suitable, since it complicates some things unnecessarily. Nevertheless, it is of the WYSIWYG programs one of the best.
