The soundscape smootht (is that a verb ^^) just so through the speakers, Legend's silky voice does the rest. The guest selection is chosen great and is in the almost eponymous first single equal its peak (guests are Common and Melanie Fiona). General fans of instrumental music are almost equally operated as are the vocal supporters. The band is always reproduced room for development and it is used every opportunity to ensure it stands out the musical qualities. Not every song is a complete success (eg "Hang on in there"), but the complete works interfere with smaller weaknesses precious little.
Songs like "Wake up everybody", "Our Generation", "Little Ghetto Boy" or "Humanity" are balm for the soul of every Soul fans who has been plagued in recent years by the increasing electrical components in the RnB / Soul. Earthy, more honest and authentic sound make this album a must for anyone claiming responsibility of the genre.
