Lords of the Fallen delay no longer, you will be similar to Dark Souls thrown directly into the game world. The basic mechanism is explained and there are tips appear when new items appear in the game.
The combat system is good and the results feedback is great, but I miss a bit of accuracy when I try to attack the enemy from behind. Since each character has magic, all classes play similar as is the case in other RPGs. But due to the influence of the military and the skills on the combat system and the many weapons there are also plenty of variety here. What personally sometimes bothers me is the long wait (at sign opponents) until you come to the train. It should also be said that it is easier in the beginning to play a villain, as the surreptitious attacks and evasion are more powerful. Bosses are nicely crisp and you should carefully avoid to go into an area that does not fit visible to the current level :)
The story is rather plump, as I would have expected more, but the game is rather on the mechanics, so this is forgivable. Sound effects are good, music I find sometimes a bit bland, but that's a matter of taste.
The graphics are, if you will throw buzzwords times NextGen. So since there is nothing to complain about, especially you have the developers of FledgeEngine praise that this interesting article published on the engine in the Making Games. I have already repeatedly caught, as I have the pretty pictures just viewed on the screen. The game is simply an eye-catcher.
So Dark Souls Dark Souls fans not copy expect, even if there are parallel. LoTF is safe beginner friendly than DS and less difficult. There are generous storage locations and the opponents are not alive again, if you regenerate without dying. Magic is quite powerful and it plays more relaxed. What also has the consequence that the moment of happiness in little at a critical location fails, the atmosphere does not affect so oppressive and one less often escape. The Lore of DS is superior LoTF. The PC port is but decent.
Update1:
Unfortunately, I have increasingly had Abstüze that are always happening at the same locations. Therefore, I have to deduct it 1 star. Also the game towards the end is much easier, so the balancing changes entirely. In NG + I will update again.
Update2:
So 5 star does not exist, because the NG + is too bad balanced. The bosses are "harder" (with a certain tactic also easy, but I do not count times as a drawback, since it is already exploiting in a kind), the rest is easy. Play the second time, has made me much less fun. However, the past season was good, so the 4/5 are appropriate.
BTW: I had initially struggling with crashes and was able to resolve through a driver update.
