By such a reference in a review, I became aware that Roger Waters was also involved in the soundtrack to "When the wind blows". For Waters fans who want to know all about him, I will write more about this: For the soundtrack Waters in 1986 recorded a 24-minute suite with 10 sections. 3 of which are with vocals (Russian Missile, Towers of Faith and Folded Flags - with variations of "This Land Is Your Land" and "Hey Joe") - the others are instrumentals. Especially "Towers" is at the level of other Waters peak numbers. The instrumentals combined echoes of older Pink Floyd albums (eg. Meddle, Wish you were here) and chimes from Waters solo works. Overall, this suite is of average Waters quality - not outstanding, but for genuine Waters fans thoroughly enjoyable and worth considering, since it ohnhein only 3 pure Waters CD's are (+ The Final Cut). Furthermore, are featured on the soundtrack to find numbers of: David Bowie, Hugh Cornwell, Genesis, Squeeze and Paul Hardcastle.
