After the hard drive has failed 1028p hard disk recorder in my Octagon SF, I added this Samsung. 1TB easily sufficient for hundreds of HDTV broadcasts.

The drive is pleasantly quiet, you have almost held to the ear the hard disk recorder to hear something.

The speed is high enough to simultaneously accommodate 2 HDTV television broadcasts and view an existing recording. So 3 independent continuous loads at the same time! In this case, the formatting proven in Journaled File System (JFS), with NTFS I have not tried it.

Because of the shift plate is in daily use. So far, 3 months without any problems.
