The equipment is high quality, well made and works without any problems. It does what it should, the radio transmission is easily with us. The announcement is a bit annoying. In my view, mainly because the volume is not sufficiently regulated. The preset temperatures are partly too high for the meats. The problem can be circumvented with the manual temperature input. A metal-backed and existing mainly in ausreichnder length cable on the thermometer bar. 2xAA (receiver) and 3xAAA (transmitter) batteries are required for operation of the thermometer and are already included. No button cells +++ +++ very well. Easy Handling. All important settings are on individual buttons, no menu-tweaking. Individual meat temperatures can be entered or preset values are selected (beef, pork, lamb, veal, turkey, chicken, fish, hamburgers) The personal parameter settings are retained after the power is turned off. Have been several spring Animals grilled and cooked roasts in my gas grill and controlled with the thermometer the core temperature. My guests and I found the meat always very good to the point juicy and tasty.
