For me the upgrade was worth

I created my website with WebPlus X5 and maintained over the years. Since I can not create mobile websites with this version, I have upgraded to version X8.

My experience with the version x8:

Compared to the X5 version (and only this I know) the Leistungsumgfang significantly during which the layout is almost identical, so you can find your way around as users of the previous version.

The web can be found for all the new features good instructions, partly as videos, which further facilitates the transition.

When the X8 version installation the existing installation is not overwritten X5. So you can (if necessary) to continue working with the old version. That was very important to me, because nothing is worse than after an upgrade might not be able to access the existing projects.

I have secured my first existing and created with WebPlus X5 site therefore in a new directory (!) And called from there with the version X8 to eliminate data loss. After calling the "old" project will initially be an indication that this may be thereafter may not edit / open with a previous version. The security was so very useful.

My site could be then easily open and edit. Any limitations, I have not found.

I then brought my X8 website with WebPlus "up to date", ie some features newly available incorporated.

Next, I then created for a guide from the WEB a mobile version. Even this was possible, though connected with a lot of manual work, if you want to remodel its existing site. I have it therefore initially put back distance and a new mobile site based on the templates WebPlus X8 mitgbringt created, which is much faster and easier by equipping, because you do not have to customize each page to the new aspect ratio manually.

Then I re-uploaded all (both versions can be completely getennt edit and upload) and lo and behold: It funktinierte immediately. More I did not expect and am accordingly satisfied.
