A watchmakers will certainly make different demands on such a tool. But to open watches, shortening bracelets and easy battery replacement, the set is perfectly fine. Thus fulfills its purpose and more you do not need indeed a layman. The cost savings for the no longer needed external services justifies the purchase price in any case.
