So, let me briefly point out in advance that I have both Guides, including the regular version. And since I'm really surprised how much quality is in the details, sometimes lousy 6 can make ... But first to the "tangible" Details.

Cover, paper, printing:
The limited game guide comes in a very high-quality acting hard cover therefore, white matt, with the FF XIII lettering and a shiny metallic logo behind. First, it really looks classy (and in my opinion somehow fits the game), and secondly, makes the book next to the box of the CE of FF XIII really good.
The paper was used in the book is very high quality, a bit harder - so thick, glossy, but still not reflecting (as opposed to the normal version). In addition, it seems to me "sealed" to be particularly, because until now my damn pen have left no evil impression. The resolution of the pressure was again refined. Thus, the image is sharp, clear and pure and so now really come all details to advantage (but I also only in direct comparison noticed). Since the CE of the solution book of FF XIII was limited to 25,000 pieces (in DE) each copy has a number in hard cover (like mine: 19,123 / 25,000)

Content:
Content provides the CE from the strategy guide of course just as much as the normal version, and even a little bit more! On 16 extra pages you can on the one hand to rework the story in short breaks again, of course, provided chronologically correct and with the corresponding Szenebildchen (partial spoiler alert, because the story in FF XIII jumps sometimes in the past / memories). On the other hand we find here the additional section "Analysis and speculation" in many a point is clarified, one can only guess at the game ... Background information halt. I find this very interesting and well laid out. Incidentally, these are not as universally believed the same little pictures and texts as in the accompanying book of CE Edition FF XIII stake!

To book solution per se:
Until Chapter 11 you do not need it really, because as already known FF XIII in the first half is quite linear. Although I was still glad to have it in the early bevels on my side because I just always liked in the Monster database or inventory lists rumblätter and especially the level up weapons and Accessories at first sight can be quite confusing.
But at the latest when you arrive in the open held 2nd half, the game guide is still a very useful guide.
On the substance, the book, as you would expect from Piggyback, completely without spoilen and designed very clear and user-friendly.

Conclusion:
I do not want to enumerate the drawbacks of normal version here because there are not really really are, down to the slightly thin and thereby kink sensitive cover perhaps. Nevertheless, the CE of the solution book of FF XIII has several advantages, such as hard cover, higher quality paper, higher print resolution, an exclusive extra part and it is strictly limited (which for some hardcore collectors determined is also interesting).
