With their new album, you are now back much closer to this music, as with discs like, Synkronized 'or' A Funk Odyssey 'that were being evil dominated by vocal house and dance floor. Of course, these works can also be found here, White Knuckle Ride 'Ider, She's A Fast Persuader' back again, because one has now to serve a wide audience among club visitors, but even to be enriched again with saxophone and other ingredients that make the sound organic and original.
Basically, you're doing here what you always were good - lively, perfectly crafted dance Feelgood Sound comes along nicely varied. The 70s-heavy, Two Completely Different Things ', for example. Sounds a lot like the Isley Brothers, hurtin' is unrestrained radio supported by a guitar riff, Blue Skies 'a beautiful soul number, Hey Floyd' a Reggae / Ska experiment and on the bonus tracks can be found with, Hang It Over 'does a radio and Dixie-jazz hybrid - one of the most charming tracks of the new album, which should have been absolutely belongs on the single CD edition on it. The standout track is but equipped with opulent strings, Lifeline ', which also has a jazz touch and again comes along with this offset vocal melody in the verses that already, Virtual Insanity' was so seductive.
Those vibes' you still have and also the tightest groove under the sun, and is a composer, rock Dust Light Star 'also better than, Dynamite again'. Clearly a form of increase gradually, Emergency 'and' Travelling 'maybe even the third best album of the group since it at least no single song here that can be considered a total failure.
For the missing 5th star halt easily 2-3 compelling catchy compositions, but sound and arrangement moderately (tw. Beautiful wind-phrases) is all over very round and the diminished use of electronics maintains this album probably even before that in 10 years out of date to sound.
Varied, elegant and casual. You have to give the plate a little time, but then you will get better.
