Customer Review

Wow, what a novel! Damien is a sensitive boy, intelligent and engaging. But he obtuse parents really obtuse, especially his father. Her mother, dares to say anything. Dam is a prisoner of family, social conventions, and to speak, he slashes the skin. Then the blood flows, like words, and this relieves, prevents stifling, explode.

Samy is a bright boy, sweet and at the same time confident, and what he feels. He can express his feelings, his love for Dam. He was raised differently, by a loving mother. Where Damien's father sees only a "fagot Satanist", we see an amazing boy, who has an infinite capacity for love and who does not care about conventions. He and his band have no shackles, no labels, only the attention they are doing account even if they comply with the school, which brings future. Samy, the human being is free, made his choice and should express what it is.

Pages turn it devours daily Dam, one lives with his suffering, his ball in the stomach when he is with Samy, lack he feels when he is not with the boy. It's just, true, and history is very beautiful, agreed. But suffering Damien is an obstacle to the full development of their love.

And then there is this amazing rebounding, the day of sixteen Damien, a pivotal date, that leaves us aghast, before one understands, just before the end, love is saving, which express the doing, prevented the worst. The title takes its full meaning.

The style is bitter and sweet, powerful and moving. The author has imagined with great accuracy the words of a sixteen year old boy who discovers love. Writing becomes a liberating power, as feelings. It is a great novel. Simply.
