(Fortunately) not as "Deponia"

"The Night of the Rabbit" is definitely one of the finest adventure games that I have ever played. But beware: If you expect slapstick, explosions or ribald humor (as in the - in my opinion, not really right - acclaimed "Deponia"), will be disappointed. TNOR is completely created differently. The plot is quiet and almost contemplative. There comes up with lots of beautiful hand-drawn backgrounds, and even rooms that you enter for a brief subplot are designed with incredible attention to detail. The music is great, without nerves, and you should definitely take the time to listen to the soundtrack included. In addition, there are a bunch of figures of various kinds, of which there are especially Ursula, the little owl (in my opinion the absolute cutest owl in the world), and the "Grünhut" who insults a constantly and in an extremely creative way, this to me have (here also the great spokesman for the "Grünhuts" should be mentioned, which has breathed into the figure extremely humorous and full of charm life).

You have me convinced everyone and especially Jerry speaker manages to give his character a lot of depth and the players to keep them happy - which is not easy if you - as a main character happens to be so - denies most of the dialogues ,

Short for action: Wow! As I said, the pace is very quiet especially in the beginning, but if the story has only picked up speed times, gooseflesh is guaranteed. There were several moments when I stirred, shocked, with his mouth open and towards the end even a bit bewildered sat in front of the screen.

And another side note: This game is not a beginner adventure. Some puzzles were quite tricky and you got notes on their solution presented only once. So it pays to be vigilant. I once had to pull the complete solution for help, and perhaps we should consider that before you can spoil the fun.

Like some other reviewers before me, I can only say: Collect the pretty gimmicks such as Top Trumps, dewdrops and stickers and the opportunity to play with other characters quartet and thereby grab beautifully designed extra cards, I find extremely successful.

There was in my eyes a few small weaknesses. Funnily enough, I felt different from most reviewers: I would have liked some places a few more dialogue options that arise gradually with the plot. And as already indicated, the story at the beginning perhaps developed a bit too slow and because of the complex plot I had off and, not really knowing to feel a bit in which direction all this leads. All the more surprised and excited me was the end: There were no excuses like "it was all a dream", which would pretty annoyed. Instead, the resolution is not only in a great (and as in another review mentioned pleasantly detailed) cutscene presented, it results also from front to back sense. All Attention.

So despite minor shortcomings five stars for a great adventure.
