We followed the instructions from the recipe book and prepared 1.2kg fries in Airfryer. After the fries (homemade of course) were cut, should a Esslövel olive oil on it and the whole is then shaken until in the bowl until all chips are wetted with the oil slightly (and the tablespoons ranged from really, the advance).
Parallel to we preheated the Airfryer to 160 degrees. In the instruction is specified, the preheating -no matter for which Stage- takes only 3 minutes and it is true. It was Ratz Fatz at the right temperature and we have given the purely French. After 16 minutes, shaking the basket once and for another 12 minutes (then at 180 degrees) in the Fryer pure. Done.
Taste the French fries are unlike fryers-fries, but also different from oven fries. Oven-fries are usually what dry, that is not the case here. It still tastes in the French potato flavor, what you in turn do not have the deep friers fries (probably because of the many fat).
The Airfryer-fries are therefore a "halfway house" between the oven and fryer, but definitely found a real alternative, as all three of us at the table.
The device itself is easy to use with the touch screen. Who is able to use an oven that can operate the part also :-)
We will now try some more dishes with it and then I publish if necessary. An update of the review here. The price is of course not cheap, but then you can save opposite the oven in this case significantly more energy (and thus power, the yes is always more expensive) and it really saves the preheat time. Disadvantage is holding, you need in the kitchen once again a corner for the part. But that is not a direct disadvantage device and therefore has no impact in my star rating.
