Frightening quality differences

While I have not purchased this camera here on Amazon, but directly via Adorama, but must nevertheless find that here eklante quality differences come to light - and all are based on the production site or Japan China. My camera was manufactured in Japan and works very well, I'm over 35 years of ambitious amateur photographer and wanted a small compact camera. It has already been annoyed with my DSLR that my model only designed and engineered in Japan, Made in China was (Olympus E-5), was high so far nothing detrimental. But what you read here in the reviews, but looking really thoughtful. Has Canon in favor of cheaper production lost the quality standard of the eyes? it would be a shame....
