Merida is a Scottish princess and tomboy pure. Prepared by her parents, the King and Queen of Fergus and Elinor, between traditions, legends and obligations on their future life as a queen, she struggles with her Scottish stubborn for freedom, be allowed as it is: a bow and arrow instead of a hoop, wild rides on the back of her faithful horse and romping around with her little triplet brothers rather demure sitting around - so include dispute and discussion with her mother almost an everyday occurrence. When her mother invites the other clans to identify a groom for Merida in a sporting competition, escalating the dispute and the princess runs away. Irrlichter the stone circle they lead to a witch and Merida itself bought one wish. But careful with what you wish for because it might come true ...
And my conclusion: Without having seen the movie so far, it has still managed the radio play for our family in the current favorite position. As a "film for listening" experience the exciting and inspiring true story of Scottish princess and is assisted by a narrator (Sabina Godec) accompanied by action to mitigate the gaps through the listen-only can. Merida is the way spoken of Nora Tschirner.
Since the visual "scary", especially in the scenes with Witch and bears missing, the radio play is not a problem even for our 6 year old. Exciting yes - but despite his phobia witches not to fear.
Pleasant is also the division into 6 chapters, which was not common in the former Disney radio plays.
