Fortunately (in retrospect) was my old Grundfos pump recently broken, looked me inevitably this part for the first time in more detail - and was shocked: That thing was in the last twelve years, either at level 2 (65 watts) or even more often at level 3 (90 watts), 24 hours a day !!! The consumption of the now built-alpha2 is 25-60 lt. Display at 8-12 watts in "Auto-Adapt-operation", am now really looking forward to my next electricity bill. PS The installation is not a problem for an average assessed home improvement, unless the two union nuts on the old pump firmly gone so right. To the product, I can only say: strong buy recommendation, as a substitute for a still functioning unregulated Old Pump. Supplement from the winter season 2012/2013: The consumption has leveled off at 7-9 watts, the automatic night mode works just fine. My electricity bill of 31 January was the final proof, the balance amounted to more than 2/3 of the pump purchase price!
