frustrating operation

Full of anticipation, I have now taken the device in reception and wanted to get started right away.
It was meant as an "upgrade" to my old Tom Tom. Now I'm sending it back without even having made a ride with it. Among the really product characteristics in terms of "navigation" I can not say anything - I have already given up in exasperation.
On my old TomTom I loved the intuitive usability and flexibility. In the new device you can not do much without internet access. Annoyed me, for example, that there are only German voices, and in a really crappy German (null grammar and strange accents: "You reach goal in 30 yards") - a switch to English without downloading the angelic voices of the Internet not possible. But on the Tom Tom website, I could not detect my device, let alone any quick fixes or information. Fittingly, there was also a problem when downloading the manual.
Who Tom Tom did not know before, is certainly with other expectations closer to the new device. For me this is nothing new part and go back again. Since I buy rather a map update for my old ...
