This book is a mine of information on the war 100 years. Evolving chronologically over this conflict, the reader is invited to discover the issues and political machinery that this deadly clash that gave birth to the first two real nations of Western Europe; France and England. Highly accurate, the author is sometimes a little too much, in my opinion, when describing such routes and toll free companies across France in particular .... It feels a bit drowned information. . Ultimately, this book, well written, is may not be the best approach to the history of this war outside standard for "neophyte" by its comprehensiveness but is a treasure trove of information for anyone who would understand in detail its progress.
