I own the S795 with AB now for about two months, and appreciate its qualities very ... did before a T-Sinus 710 Comfort (identical to the Siemens Gigaset 4010 Comfort) for approximately 10 years obsessed (own & use this always yet, but the handset is a bit slow over time / slow on keypress / response / function and become the display without reading glasses for me less readable - owners of Gigaset 4010 know what I mean). An answering machine had my T-Sinus 710 is not, but the rest of comfort already. What comfort or what are obvious functional properties at a phone, at least for me? For me one, as well as for all other users, a good sound and good connection properties when making calls. The right tone / sound has the S795 handset definitely (also known as VoIP phone on a Fritz Box Fon to a DSL-Light connection with only 387 kbits / s). The sound of the answering machine could be better, but it is okay so far. The 45 minute recording time is the sound quality sacrificed and compressed down - who wants to have a better sound here, this can be configured on the handset, then dispensed with but a few minutes of recording time (I stayed in the 45 minutes setting). The remaining part of comfort features, the S795, and this may even offer a Siemens phone. Siemens builds phones for people with a little more (logically good) claims to a telephone if the external Schick to the so-called intrinsic values. Anyone who has had a Gigaset, the want to miss the advantages of these phones never again and examined them with other manufacturers in vain.
The S795 can be used as free-standing stand phone (handset is vertical, easy to read) if you hinstellt it. Thus, making the large analog displays of just wonderful for evening analysis and discreet timepieces - conveniently seen from the chair :-) I go to bed, or I already have permanent front of the TV? The ever benign and sufficiently large and bright readable clock informed me immediately, when it's time to run away to bed, or at least to see another movie. At twelve clock at night appears for a short time a much brighter display that reminds you to finally go to bed, or at least thinking about the next day - this makes me happy from my phone. When I go to bed, I take the Siemens S795 with ... as quasi signpost in the dark, because as bright lights the display when you press one of the switches or buttons. Thus, you now sneaks including phone to bed :) At night when you should wake up the phone and the last nightcap ends showing through its well-lit analog time. Of course you can the phone as an alarm clock, scheduler (the nap) or handkerchief pseudo memory nodes use, great. And this up to 500 times - entries / contacts or configure itself specifically in the phonebook of the handset and manage, including e-mail address, mobile telephone number or SMS notification, each with spec. Ringtones / pictures per entry .... class :) So you can save a lot of friends, relatives and business associates in the phone book of the device - with a lot of data. Must not Geburst- or anniversary miss more and why invent embarrassing excuses wonderful.
As I said, 500 phone book entries with all Pipapo-submenu options such as email / SMS / mobile number / anniversaries and contribution of photos and MP3 ringtones via Mini-USB for each entry (clip-recognition) .... with me as Blind Fink the larger font (Option for Large Data screen in the large TFT color display) of the entry already sufficient and help is enough. A clearly visible flashing red light (reminiscent of missed calls in absence), call recording, baby monitor / surveillance as quasi intruder alarm with call to my mobile phone 45 minutes answering machine, metal keyboard and long talk time with a full duplex speakerphone, a tidy himself comprehending Devices menu and the opportunity for current firmware and software updates from the Siemens Gigaset website via mini-USB are worth the money demanded here. Existing phone book entries of my old T-Sinus 710 Comfort handset I could summarily take over the Siemens Gigaset S795 by I signed it at the base station and existing entries simply sent from the T-Sinus to the Gigaset. Presumably this works the other way round - the main thing, both handsets are posted / logged on a base.
Only skeptical I was only at the surface material of the Gigaset S795 and its possibly faster scratchability. Which I countered with a car wax "A1 Speedwax" and sealed base as the handset with the hard wax. Bin far so scratchfree satisfied. The same I did even at my cell phones because of the "A1 Speedwax" is easy to handle and totally not typical traces of wax leaves (he also takes nix).
I hope to have been with my comment in the purchase decision somewhat helpful and thank Amazon and its service one just in provincially-lying areas very appreciate!
The Gigaset S795 I would also recommend my family & friends without having to be ashamed afterwards for this advice.
