Fully focused on quality and style ...

You have three ways to adjust the focus to the camera:

In the Nikon from middle-class, you can fine-tune the AF in the camera and save the lens. Works perfectly with me.

One can get the USB dock of Sigma and the lens provided with the new firmware and even adjust the focus on the lens by means of software.
Here costs 39 euros and is worth it. Works also perfectly with me. Thus, the lens is not significantly more expensive and you can for other glasses of A, C and sport use.

With three version then you need not to pay attention to what lens you have on his Nikon and can cheerfully back and forth without transposing.

Version four was long to order and return it until it has a copy, that fits. Something for the very patient Fotofreund or the appointed Lucky.

The image quality is sublime and you get the feeling that it's not getting better. Even such giants as the resolution of the cameras D800 series is more than up, providing crisp and clear shots. The sharpness and resolution has been sensational at full aperture, from aperture 5.6 it is almost brutal. I had nothing better on my D800 (s). The Bokeh is beautiful, the lens focuses quickly and quietly. For all lovingly detailed and sharpness fanatics a really good choice, if not the best.

Bottom line: If it were possible, the focus Sigma shortcomings in some series to get a grip, then this product would have earned seven stars. Razor sharp, super processed and absolutely professional fit. These properties make this lens is absolutely no alternative, if one takes into consideration also the price. As one can live in my eyes with some front focus, which is easy to adjust. Only it does one hurt in the soul, so totally devalue this super lens, as some have done it here, because it is simply sensational, if everything fits. A star must serve but anyway, because it is unacceptable that new quality products you buy, where you will be once the free employees from Sigma as a customer and irons out the mistakes.
