Fun despite the lack of long-term motivation

Quite by accident, I'm shortly after the release of the Dungeons Demo
encountered and therefore had a lot of fun. Unlike many Dunkeon-Keeper fans
I could unprejudiced approach to the game, because I've never played Dungeon Keeper and
therefore had no corresponding high expectations of Dungeons.
Although I was pleasantly surprised by the demo, I initially waived the purchase,
because I did not agree with the DRM policy Publishers - patches only
Online registration and forced account and only from the launcher. No thanks, not so!

Now I'm back by chance stumbled upon the GOTY edition with all updates and
Patches included, so buying nothing stood in the way.

--- --- CAMPAIGN

In the campaign it comes to the underworld to regain. As overview is a

Campaign correspond. With the progress of the campaign, the map changes
according to the growing influence of the dark prince.

The individual levels are increasingly difficult but never unsolvable in the later stages.
The tasks are relatively varied, although of course always a lot procedures

because of the black humor and the fun to be able to once be the bad guy.

For fulfilling major and minor tasks, there are rewards in the form of usable once

From the endless game I definitely hoped for more. While it was clear that no
30-hour parts would be like Anno 1404 in it, but what is offered here
I find disappointing and almost pointless.
After about an hour, are pretty much all objects unlocked and the Dungeon
as far removed that you can sit back and watch as the hero
be killed by the monsters, transported by the Goblins and "harvested" in prison.
Since the stimulus and also the long-term motivation is missing - a real shame.

--- TECHNICAL ---

The graphics are not old fashioned, but not eye-opener. But this is for this type of
Game not really necessary, I look at the graph in this case, as appropriate.
This is also the requirement for hardware is quite moderate and should also
not quite as strong computer are not too big hurdle.
Sound Technically, there is nothing to complain about, the soundtrack is coherent and the voice fits.
I had neither bugs nor crashes during the whole campaign.

The campaign is entertaining with a matching sense of humor and a coherent
Atmosphere. But the continuous mode, in which I had high hopes and the
contributed considerably to my buying decision, has unfortunately to be totally unattractive
proven, which is why the long-term motivation unfortunately tends towards zero.
But I forgive mediocre 3 star.
