After I had taken a long time Vorlieb despite existing USB 3.0 ports with a USB 2.0 hub on the desk, it was time for an upgrade. Thanks to the many positive recessions I chose this unit that has since not let me down. The design is simple and functional - a beauty contest to win others, but I consider that if a technical device for the home office and no value. More important is the equipment and there is not stingy. Most importantly, of course, the seven USB ports. These are clean and centrally fitted in the device and have a sufficient distance so that even slightly thicker sticks are not blocking the neighboring port. Plug locks in place well fed and do not wobble. Each port is equipped with a blue LED that lights up when it is occupied. This is particularly useful if, like me, sometimes in the evening sitting in the dark and completely still just NEN USB port searches. Furthermore, it is extremely gratifying that the Hub is equipped with an active power, which makes it usable as USB quick charger.
Currently I run the following devices permanently attached to a hub - Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 - Logitech MX518 mouse - HP Deskjet 3520 Multifunction Printer - Verbatim USB 3.0 External HDD Linksys - WUSB600N Wireless Stick
The remaining ports I use to communicate with my Samsung Galaxy S3, my Asus Nexus 7, as well as a dozen or USB sticks of different manufacturers.
So far, I could not detect any negative aspects and forgive so all five stars.
